Summer is almost here and so is vacation time. A lot of people in the gym are wondering how to stay in shape on their holidays.

Here are my top 5 on how to plan for success:
1. Find a local CrossFit Gym
And then choose a hotel that’s nearby. It’s that easy.
2. Don’t book all-inclusive hotels
You will over-eat. And over-drink. Because you paid for it. Don’t be that person.
3. Work on your weaknesses
No CrossFit Box nearby? Great! Use this unique opportunity to get better at bodyweight exercises!
Go and google “Travel WOD” to get inspired!
PS: Don’t forget to pack your jump-rope!
4. Cardi-no?
If you’re a CrossFitter like me, you usually won’t don’t do long cardio sessions very often.
Why not switch it up and get your running on? If you’ve been hitting it hard in the gym the past months, then extensive cardio can help you deload and recover. It’s also a great way to explore a new city by foot!
And if you’ve been lazy, sprints are always a good way to get you back on track
5. Be you
Who you are at home doesn’t change when your are away.
Whether you are home or not, you can still eat healthy most of the time and work out 2-3 times per week.
All you need to do is plan for it – just like you do at home.
