From the beginning, the aim of CrossFit has been to forge a broad, general, and inclusive fitness and to prepare for the unknown and unknowable. Our sport prescribes “constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements” for our workouts. This type of programming is present in the training plans of elite, podium athletes, but also of mortals just like us. If you’ve ever wondered what I week of programming and training for life looks like, look no further. As a follow-up of last week’s guest blog by Rob Ottesen, we introduce to you his weekly training plan. Enjoy!

Meet a CrossFit Hero
Hey everyone! We’re starting a new blog series where we’re going to introduce you to the growing community of CrossFit in Germany and Europe. We mark the start of this project with a guest blog from Rob Ottesen – a great athlete that is not only strong in body, but also in mind. Rob, or ROBO, is a soldier who has two long deployments behind his back. For his Military Service he doesn’t have to be fit. He has to be CrossFit. Learn more from his story…

Top Moments of 2014 CrossFit Games
This year’s CrossFit Games offered fans and followers great entertainment and amazing performances from old and young, teams and individuals. For the first time Camille Leblanc-Bazinet was able to climb to the top and now holds the title “Fittest Woman on Earth”. Rich Froning stays the fittest man on Earth for the fourth time in a row. What a surprise! Not.
During one week of competing and fighting through grueling events designed by your beloved Dave Castro we saw elite athletes have their ups and downs, but never giving up. We’ve decided to share with you some of our favorite moments from the CrossFit Games 2014. (more…)
The Hottest CrossFit Women
You’ve seen articles like this one many times before. “Top 10 CrossFit Hotties”, “Top 5 Women that Lift More Than You and Still Look Perfect Doing So”. And every time in those articles you stumble upon the same old names – Annie Thorisdottir, Julie Founcher, Andrea Ager, Christmas Abbott, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet and so on and so on… (more…)
Suprfit watches the CrossFit Games
Oh no, he didn’t!
But yes, he did. Dave Castro was able to surprise athletes and spectators again with great programming, new movements and well-planned workouts. The master mind behind the CrossFit Games never seems to disappoint us when it comes to the workouts awaiting hundreds of individual and team athletes the next couple of days.

The Battle of London 2014 and Suprfit Europe
Battle of London, we are coming!
We love the CrossFit community and we would love to see it grow further in Europe. This is why we decicded to show our love by sponsoring the one of the biggest CrossFit Events in Europe – the Battle of London.

Along with other companies such as Again Faster, Pure Pharma, Iconx, Pullum, Proanox, Xenudurance and others we are happy to help this event come true.
Not only are we sponsors but also are going to have a vendor stall there, so you are more than welcome to visit us! We will be presenting our own designs and apparel. We are going to have special offers and a couple of surprises for you, so make sure you check us out.
Furthermore, our athletes are doing the qualifying WODs and we are more than happy that for now they are placing at what seems to be sure spots for entering the competition. These past years the London Throwdown has been so exciting, but the upgraded version is going to be epic! The Battle of London, I am convinced, will start a longterm tradition of competing for the years to come.
See you in London!

The CrossFit Invitational 2013
What a weekend! The Invitational this year wasn’t something to be missed. We had the chance to see some of the best athletes in the CrossFit world crush four events within an hour and a half… But first our weekend:
The weekend was full of CrossFit spirit – you could meet familiar faces from the CrossFit community all over Berlin. Our team had the chance to visit a couple of CrossFit boxes before the big event.
As real CrossFitters we met at the bar on a Friday night – we visited CrossFit Werk, where the athletes themselves had been training for the whole week. We had an intensive WOD and great time there.
